Lulu left Masked Singer viewers in no doubt she was Piece of Cake, with the singer's speaking voice 'sealing the deal' on her identity, before her big reveal when she was voted off the end of Saturday night's show.
After making winners of big names like Nicola Roberts, Joss Stone and Natalie Imbruglia, The Masked Singer made its return for its fourth series on ITV on New Year's Day, with famous football pundit Chris Kamara, the first star to get the boot as Ghost. The format for the new series of the zany guessing game has seen six different characters compete against each in three battles to make it through to the next round.
First up on Saturday night were Jacket Potato, who many fans were sure was Shane Richie, who took on Fawn; before Rubbish competed against Pigeon. The last two celebs in disguise to make their debut on The Masked Singer stage were Piece of Cake and Rhino and, while there were more than a few guesses that the delicious diva was Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, the overwhelming majority of predictions centered on one name - Lulu.

Pieces of Cake's VT package featured a clue on taking part in a 'competition,' which could easily be a nod to Lulu's Eurovision success. But, for those convinced it was the Shout singer behind the mask, her voice alone was enough for them to draw that conclusion, although many also pointed to her height as another tell-tale sign. Plumping for Lulu, one tweeted: "Piece of cake is definitely Lulu!!" Echoing that, a second reacted: "Piece of cake Lulu 100000%"
Many others said exactly the same thing and then as she headed backstage, viewers claimed the 'deal was sealed' by her speaking voice as she reacted to the panel's guesses, as one fan remarked: "piece of cake is definitely Lulu! Her speaking voice is very distinctive."
And their guesses proved to be career with Lulu explaining that the appearance of a well in her VT being a nod to the 'wellllll' intro to Shout and the riddle of a 'a select few' being in reference to her being just one of a handful of acts to have recorded a James Bond theme.
