When police tracked down a knife attacker near Bristol he told them he had tried to kill. Jacob Davey told officers: "Attempted murder, whatever you want to call it."
Davey had paid a call on Jake Graham at his home in Wiveliscombe due to a dispute. Bristol Crown Court heard Davey, wearing a stocking over his head and gloves, stabbed Mr Graham six times, one wound puncturing his lung.
The 31-year-old, of Taunton, pleaded guilty to attempted murder on January 1. He appeared at court for sentence.
