A brand-new Maserati MC20 is just one of the supercars which will roar into the grounds of an Ayrshire five star hotel this Thursday as part of Cannonball’s Grand Highlands Tour.
The stellar line-up of rare cars descending upon Ballantrae’s Glenapp Castle include a brand-new Maserati MC20 — the first sports supercar of the Trident brand which can clock up max speeds of just over 202mph — as well as firm favourites SLR McLaren, Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari and Aston Martin.
Porsche, Bentley, an interesting selection of EV cars and much more will also be on show.
The cars will be on display in the grounds of Glenapp Castle from around 11am.
The general public are encouraged to come along, snap some photos and meet the drivers before the supercar convoy takes on a tour of the Grand Highlands.
The cars will take in Loch Ness and the world-famous North Coast 500 on Friday, April 8, Cairngorms National Park on Saturday, April 9 and on to Edinburgh, Loch Lomond and Cairnryan on Sunday, April 10.
Cannonball Ireland is the most unique supercar fraternity in the world, with over €1,266,000 to date raised for Irish charities including Irish Cancer Society, Muscular Dystrophy Ireland (MDI) and LauraLynn — Ireland’s Children’s Hospice.
Jill Chalmers, Managing Director of Glenapp Castle, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be hosting Cannonball supercars at the start of this exciting journey and to play our part in supporting such a worthy charitable cause.”
