Hollywood legend Dick Van Dyke was involved in a car crash in Malibu, though he was not seriously injured, according to reports.
Police responded to reports of a single-car accident and found the 97-year-old actor behind the wheel of a 2018 Lexus LS 500 which had crashed into a gate. Dick is said to have lost control of his car after sliding on the road following heavy rainfall in Los Angeles, before crashing into the gate.
According to sources, the Mary Poppins star was found bleeding from the nose and mouth, and possibly had concussion. He told police his car had skidded in the rain and he lost control of the vehicle, reports The Mirror.

The crash comes 10 years after Dick was rescued from his Jaguar, which had been set ablaze, in Los Angeles. Luckily, the veteran actor came away from his latest accident with minor injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene, without having to go to hospital.
A source told TMZ that the actor possibly suffered a concussion following the crash. They also told the publication that drugs and alcohol were not involved, but added that police had submitted paperwork to the Department of Motor Vehicles to request a driving retest for Dick.
They're said to have cited his age as one of the reasons for the application. The actor is said to have been picked up by someone following the incident, so he didn't have to drive home from the scene.
The car accident comes after Dick's last public appearance when he was unmasked as Gnome on The Masked Singer. The star blew the audience away as he belted out a powerful rendition of When You're Smiling by Frank Sinatra.
His show-stopping singing even reduced judge Nicole Scherzinger to tears as she she said it was "an honour" to watch him perform on the show.
