Mary Earps: Lionesses goalkeeper to leave Manchester United for PSG

Lionesses goalkeeper Mary Earps is set to leave Manchester United and join Paris Saint-Germain.

Earps is out of contract this summer and has turned down the chance to sign fresh terms with United.

The club are understood to have made the goalkeeper a strong offer to stay, but she is keen for a new challenge elsewhere.

Earps is expected to join French giants PSG, who have been the favourites to sign her since January.

Arsenal were also interested in Earps last year, but they have since switched their attention to Aston Villa goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar.

Earps is one of the most high-profile players in the women’s game and her signing will be a major coup for PSG.

The 31-year-old has won the FIFA Best goalkeeper award for the past two years in a row, while she also finished fifth in the most recent Ballon d’Or.
