Arizona Cardinals fans want to see Ohio State receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. wearing Cardinal red in 2024. He is expected to be drafted in the top five, where the Cardinals are now projected to be when the draft finally comes.
Harrison, at 6-foot-3 and 203 pounds with top-end speed and playmaking, caught 67 passes for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns in the regular season.
However, he has not accomplished two things — he has not seen Ohio State beat Michigan or be Big Ten champs.
According to reporter Adam King, those are major considerations for Harrison to consider. He is leaving the door open to return to the Buckeyes in 2024.
A return to Ohio State still could be profitable, as he reportedly has offers on the table that would pay him comparable to a first-round pick.
Of course, as a top-three pick in the draft, he would get a fully guaranteed contract worth more than $35 million.
Ultimately, it would shocking if he chose to forgo the draft another year.
But at least for now, he isn’t committed to the NFL. And that means we have a couple of things to continue to discuss — whether or not he will declare and whether the Cardinals will and can draft him.
