A new report is claiming that "Marvel's Wolverine" is getting another showcase next week to reveal more details and give fans more to look out for with the upcoming single-player action RPG.
However, while "Marvel's Wolverine" already has a release date, the studio and PlayStation have yet to unveil when its preorder is going live.
'Marvel's Wolverine Showcase Coming Next Week
A notable PlayStation insider (via ComicBook Gaming) shared that they have heard a new State of Play may be happening next week, claiming that it will take place on April 16.
However, it is known that developer Insomniac Games had previously told fans it would not be revealing anything new about "Marvel's Wolverine" during the spring season. Despite this, the new information from the insider claims that there will be an upcoming showcase for the game.
Should this State of Play take place next week, the insider said that it would focus entirely on "Marvel's Wolverine" and avoid showcasing other titles.
According to the report, this is similar to what PlayStation did before with the April 2025 State of Play focusing entirely on a showcase for "Borderlands 4."
It was hinted that fans may expect a big showcase with this State of Play for "Marvel's Wolverine," highlighting the experiences, gameplay, and more about the game.
'Marvel's Wolverine' Preorder Remains Unavailable
Despite PlayStation and Insomniac Games already confirming the release date for "Marvel's Wolverine," there is still no information on when the preorders will open for gamers.
There are five months left until the September 15 release schedule, so preorders may arrive sooner than later.
Insomniac Games previously said that it wants to "show" more of the game to the fans and players first before opening it up for preorders, so a showcase for it is not doubtful.
