Martine McCutcheon recalls 'emotional' night with Tom Parker as she pays tribute

Martine McCutcheon took to social media on Thursday to reminisce over an "emotional" and "magical" night with The Wanted star Tom Parker, who sadly died last week.

Sharing a sweet unseen snap, Martine touched upon the "magical" night she had with the father-of-two at the Royal Albert Hall.

Last week it was announced that Tom had tragically passed away at the tender of age of 33 after battling an aggressive form of cancer, leaving behind his wife Kelsey and their two young children.

Martine, 45, was keen to show her support and shared a family snap of Tom with his wife Kelsey and their kids, penning: "Thinking of you loads and loads," before tagging Kelsey herself.

She then shared an sweet snap of herself with Tom, while she planted a kiss on his cheek and he flashed a shocked grin for the camera.

The Masked Singer star wrote alongside it: "And @tomparkerofficial of course @being_kelsey.

"This night and the Royal Albert Hall was hands down one of THE most magical and emotional nights of our lives.

"The love in the room was like nothing I've ever seen before and maybe never will again," followed by a heart emoji.

She then posted picture of a touching poem – Footprints In The Sand, which was sure to leave her followers feeling emotional.

The sweet tribute comes after The Wanted singer Tom, passed away last week from stage four glioblastoma.

He had been receiving treatment after doctors discovered he had a brain tumour in 2020, when he was told that it was inoperable and that he would only have 12-18 months to live.

The news was announced last week when Tom's wife Kelsey took to social media to share a sweet photo and moving caption.

Kelsey penned: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side.

"Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can't imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.

"We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom's light continues to shine for his beautiful children."

She then added: "Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout, he fought until the very end. I'm forever proud of you."
