Martine McCutcheon is looking slimmer than ever as she shows off toned figure in Christmas outfit

Former EastEnders actress and Love Actually star Martine McCutcheon has shown off her slim, toned figure as the star looks happy posing for a Christmas selfie.

The 46-year-old actress showed off her long, slim legs in a leather miniskirt and black tights paired with a black and gold shirt. The actress' long dark hair was styled in relaxed waves teamed with natural looking makeup.

Martine was heading out to celebrate a pal's birthday and revealed she wasn't totally feeling up to celebrating.

Writing on Instagram to her 548,000 followers, she captioned the snap: "Not much would get me out right now.

"As you know, we’ve all been feeling a bit unwell, working too hard, we’ve been dealing with decorators, carpenters and plumbers at the house and are waaayyy behind with the crimbo shopping but my darling friend @samanthajm is celebrating her birthday and I can’t tell you what a rock she has been for me and my family lately.

"Sam, you are so loved and cherished and rightfully so… You are so loyal, loving and thoughtful. Everyone needs a Samantha in their life!"

Fans rushed in to compliment Martine's style as well as her toned frame. One fan asked: "What did you do to loose all your weight you look fantastic!!!"

Another added: "You look amazing!"

"You are and have always been beautiful," said a third.

One of Martine's most known roles is as tea-lady Natalie in Love Actually, who falls in love with the Prime Minister as played by Hugh Grant.

Speaking in a recent interview, Martine revealed the role helped her fall in love with acting again after suffering burnout from an intense run in theatres playing My Fair Lady's Eliza Doolittle.

She said: "Thanks to Love Actually, I dug deep at a time I wasn’t very confident, but I found the confidence to feel the fear and do it anyway.

"I made a decision about what I wanted to do for a living from a place of confidence rather than a place of fear or worrying about what other people thought.

"It completely turned things around for me. It was great. It was a really, really big curveball in my life that I’m forever grateful for."

Love Actually has become one of the most well-known Christmas films, grossing $246 million worldwide on a budget of $40–45 million.
