Legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese has surprisingly joined Letterboxd.
Yes, as hard as it is to comprehend, perhaps the greatest director of all time has created a profile on the film-tracking application Letterboxd to share what he’s been watching lately and maybe even how he feels about it.
It’s a fascinating twist for the towering auteur, whose new film Killers of the Flower Moon is playing in theaters nationwide. If you’ve longed to open up your Letterboxd account and see what movies Scorsese has been watching, now is your chance.
This is like opening up a wonderful present on Christmas morning if you’re a Scorsese fan or just an appreciator of really good movies in general.

Scorsese confirmed his Letterboxd activity on his Instagram account.
While Scorsese doesn’t have his four favorite films listed (you can see a much bigger list of his all-timers here), he’s recently watched Western films like Red River, Blood on the Moon and Wild River.
We’ll see how often Scorsese updates his Letterboxd in the weeks and months to come, and if he adds any reviews to his diary logs.
