Martin Roberts has shared concerns about his health after eating some food which was years past its use by date.
The 59-year-old Homes Under The Hammer star told fans he was left 'worried for his life' after consuming the food.
The TV presenter's concerns come just weeks after he was rushed to hospital for life-saving emergency treatment.
In April, Martin was told there was a "massive amount of fluid" around his heart and would need urgent surgery.
Fortunately, the success proved to be a success and Martin is now back doing his day job until he had another brush with health concerns yesterday.
Martin shared a snap of a packet of taco seasoning on Twitter, and told his followers that there was something very wrong with it.
He wrote: "I’m a bit worried. Just realised the taco seasoning I used tonight was a bit past it’s ‘Best Before’ date.
"Should I be concerned? Hell of a way to die after all I’ve been through [crying with laughter emojis]."
The photo that Martin shared showed that the best before date was reading "11-04-2013", which is nine years ago.
Martin soon had some replies to his question, with one fan suggesting: "Best before ignore. Use by comply."
The TV presenter was unsure about this and replied: "Really? What's the difference?"
Another told Martin in a tweet: "I don’t believe in spices going off!"
Again Martin was unsure and replied: "So why do they print a date. Like on water? 2000 years filtering through rock and it goes off?"
This was quickly answered by another fan, who tweeted: "Hi Martin I think the water one is to do with being in a plastic bottle and the chance of the plastic effecting the water, not the water 'going off'"
This seemed to satisfy Martin, who replied: "Good point."
This all followed the major health scare that he had over the Easter weekend.
He said that a number of symptoms he had been experiencing all came to a head at that point and he needed urgent hospital care.
Speaking to The Sun, Martin said: "I’ve had asthma since I was a child, but I couldn’t catch my breath, no matter how many times I used my inhaler.
“I felt like my chest was heavy and I was so exhausted. I’d spent the previous week or so planning my day to make sure I only had to come downstairs once in the morning and go back up in the evening, as every time I climbed the stairs I’d be exhausted and out of breath at the top.”
After being rushed to hospital by his wife, Martin was told by surgeons that he would need to make some changes to his lifestyle as they had saved his life during the hospitalisation.
Martin continued: “I feel so very lucky to be here. I could have died but I’m here. I’ll never be the same person again."
