Martin Lewis warns over half want to opt out of £200 energy bill rebate

Martin Lewis has been back on ITV answering the public's money questions.

As energy bills are set to rise and Scots are expected to get a £200 reduction in their energy bills - a sum they will have to pay back - the financial guru explained the situation and what to expect.

Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced that everyone in the UK will have £200 off their electric bill and then would pay £40 back for five years starting from the following year.
