Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has issued a word of warning to anybody who gets a pay slip. Millions of Brits are sent pay slips either weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, but Martin Lewis says people should check a detail that is easily missed to make sure they're not losing out on money.
The MSE founder says people should look for the code on their pay slip as soon as possible. Even if you've checked before, it's worth doing this regularly to make sure nothing changes.
Martin says if you have the wrong tax code, it could be costing you hundreds, if not thousands. In his latest Money Saving Expert newsletter, Martin warned that people who use the wrong tax code could be paying too much or too little.
