Money saving expert Martin Lewis has shared a tip that could save holidaymakers £200. The financial presenter and journalist has said people who have already booked their holiday can also benefit.
The tip involves checking hotel prices to see if they drop before you are due to travel. Martin Lewis explains that if your current hotel booking has free cancellation, you then cancel the hotel, get your money back and then rebook at the lower price.
The Mirror reports that Martin Lewis said: "If the price of your hotel has dropped and your booking allows free cancellation, simply rebook for less. Check the latest prices on comparison sites Skyscanner, Kayak, and TripAdvisor - and keep checking before you go.”
