People's champion, Martin Lewis has said that there's a 'magic number' anybody who pays bills needs to know about. The financial guru, regularly provides financial advice through his MoneySavingExpert website and television appearances.
Speaking in a video update, reported by Yorkshire Live, Martin Lewis shared an update on whether or not people should now fix their energy tariff or stick to the variable price cap tariff.
In the video, the financial journalist said "timing is crucial" as things change regularly. Martin added: "The current price cap for someone who is dual-fuel, which is typical use, is £1,971 a year. That went up massively on the 1 of April and that's where it sits right now. That will last until the beginning of October."
