Millions of households are braced for eye-watering increases in their energy bills from April 1. This is after Ofgem increased its price cap which could see average bills rise from £1,277 to £1,971.
Money saving expert Martin Lewis has outlined three main things people can do ahead of the 54 per cent increase in their bills. The increase will hit at a time of rising food and petrol prices and with a national insurance tax hike also due.
Martin has released a video which gives advice to households worried about rising prices, the Mirror reports. The include taking a meter reading and checking if you will get the council tax rebate.
