Consumer expert Martin Lewis says there is a way for householders to cut £100 off their heating bills.
On his Martin Lewis Money Show Live on ITV, he urged households to check the “flow temperature” of their boiler. This is the temperature your boiler heats up the water to before sending it off to your radiators.
The financial guru explained how your boiler should be set at 60° - but most are programmed much higher than this. “You normally want it to be around 60° but most peoples boilers are set higher - that’s really inefficient,” said Martin.
