A fan of Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert website was delighted when she managed to get a £200 air fryer for £70 by following a simple piece of advice. Black Friday is now upon us, and brands like Ninja, Currys and Argos have all slashed the price of air fryers.
But the Martin Lewis fan was able to save £130 on her air fryer without having to depend on the Black Friday sales. In fact, she managed to do it by making a simple 30-second search.
The shopper, whose name is Angela, shared her purchase on the MSE forum. Her experience was then shared in this week's newsletter.

Angela was able to bag the bargain by using MSE's "unique" Amazon discount tool. If you've never heard of it before, you're not alone.
The deal tool, the Amazon Warehouse Discount Finder, helps shoppers make further savings by using the Amazon Warehouse. Amazon Warehouse sells goods that are slightly damaged, even if it's just the packaging, for often considerably less than the retail price.
To use the MSE tool, tell it what you're looking for, either a specific brand item or a broad search like "toaster", and it'll display the % saving compared to buying new at Amazon.
You can then filter items by brand or condition, and order by the biggest discount. Angela was clearly thrilled with how much she saved. She told MSE: "Bought a £200 Tefal Actifry for £70, listed as cosmetic damage. Arrived with not a mark on it. Total bargain."
