Martin Lewis has issued a warning to all Tesco shoppers who own a Clubcard - as discounts they could be entitled to will expire in a matter of days.
Some £13 million worth of Tesco Clubcard vouchers will run out by the end of the month, meaning shoppers could be missing out on discounts. During his live ITV show last week, the MoneySavingExpert explained how any vouchers issued in November 2020 will expire on November 30, 2022.
Clubcard vouchers are issued three times a year in February, May, August and November and are they usually valid for two years. One point is added to your Clubcard balance for every £1 you spend on everyday grocery items.

A minimum of 150 points is needed to get a Clubcard voucher, which will be worth £1.50 to spend in Tesco. Martin urged shoppers to use up their vouchers before they expire, adding: “Check whether you’ve got [vouchers to use] at Tesco.com/Clubcard or via the app."
But he also explained a clever work-around which allows you to extend the life of your vouchers if you're not ready to spend them just yet. Martin explained: "Take your £10 voucher online and buy a 50p restaurant voucher on its Reward page - which is worth £1.50 because they triple it.
“Now, you will get reissued £9.50, the change, in vouchers, and they are new vouchers so they have a two-year lifespan.”
Shoppers can also use their vouchers to bring down the cost of their festive shop, on fuel or with Tesco Mobile. You can check if you have forgotten Clubcard points by logging into the Tesco Clubcard website with your account details.
Clubcard members should be receiving their next set of Clubcard vouchers this month - and these will again be valid for two years.
