Martin Lewis has issued an urgent passport warning to people in the UK.
Passport application costs are set to rise. From Thursday (February 2) a new adult passport will cost £82.50, up from £75.50. A child's passport will jump up to £53.50 from £49.
And people applying by post will also see further price hikes on top.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Mr Lewis said: "Urgently check your passport end date now (for safety you want at least six months left when you travel) as NEW PASSPORT PRICES RISE TOMORROW."
He then added a link to a Money Saving Expert article, which urges people to check their passports, and to renew it now - before the price hikes - if it needs doing.
Many people said the same thing in response to Mr Lewis' tweet. Phil said: "But… since they have less benefits than they did 2 years ago, shouldn’t they be cheaper?", while Arthur said: "So we are paying more for a more useless passport".
Stuart said: "Typical. More money for an inferior passport", and Teresa said: "It should be a reduced price for what it gets you now".
