Martin Lewis has offered his thoughts on the government's emergency package to help people struggling with the cost of living. He had spoken with the Chancellor this week and expressed what he believed to be urgent priorities that needed addressing.
And after the measures were announced by Rishi Sunak on Thursday, Mr Lewis tweeted: "Wow just reading this back, I think he was listening!" The Chancellor was heckled as he first began announcing the measures, with cries of “what took you so long” and “about time”, Yorkshire Live reports.
