There have been quite a few stories recently of people having trouble boarding planes with seemingly fine passports and now finance expert Martin Lewis has issued some urgent advice on the topic. The MoneySavingExpert wants people who are due to go abroad this year to check their travel documents now.
Millions have already booked a summer holiday this year and more than 60,000 others are planning to leave UK shores this year, according to Martin Lewis's Twitter poll. In order not to get caught out during your holiday he has advised to check your passport for these two things to avoid possible problems, reports the Manchester Evening News.
In his money-saving newsletter, Lewis is continuing to emphasise the importance of checking passports. He has said everyone must make sure to check two important things before they set foot on that plane.
