National treasure Martin Lewis has donated thousands of his own money after what he described as a 'depressing' appearance on This Morning.
The country's favourite money savings expert appeared on the ITV daytime show on Thursday to take viewers' calls alongside hosts Alison Hammond and Phillip Schofield ahead of the energy-price hike coming next month and amid the worrying cost of living crisis.
His blunt message came just three weeks to the day until energy regulator Ofgem is due to announce the scale of a hike in the price cap for 15 millions households. However, despite handing out his best bits of advice for those worried about the upcoming gas and electricity rises, Martin still wasn't happy, the Mirror reports.
