Martin King and Jenny McCarthy enjoyed a date night over the weekend as the celebrity photographer explained she feels "a good bit better".
Jenny had surgery to remove a brain tumour earlier this month and has been at home recovering since.
She had the same procedure done back in 2011, but the experience this time round has been more "challenging" as she has had to deal with severe headaches.
On Sunday afternoon, Jenny revealed on Instagram that she felt a lot better and was going to go out and spend the day with her husband, TV presenter Martin King, RSVP reports.
The couple enjoyed a meal at Eaton6W, and later on Jenny posted a selfie with Martin as she thanked the restaurant for having them.
The husband and wife's date night comes following Martin's return to work on the radio on Saturday morning.
The broadcaster was back on his show on Q102 after he took a few weeks off air to look after Jenny in the aftermath of her surgery.
Addressing his absence from the airwaves, Martin said it is lovely to be back on his show and thanked his listeners for being so supportive.
"The recovery has been a little more challenging this time than it was last time. Some of the headaches my good lady has been experiencing are quite severe," he told his listeners.
"Last time we said very little about it, but this time she decided to have a handle on it and deliver the news first hand rather than you reading it second hand, but also because she started receiving some incredible messages."
He continued: "Thank you so much for the beautiful messages of support, and of people saying prayers and lighting candles and doing all that business. It has strengthened, even more, my faith in human kindness.
"Some of the letters, messages and cards we have received have been absolutely beautiful so thank you so much for that.
"The last couple of weeks...the recovery this time has been more challenging, but in the last 48 hours or so - fingers crossed - we have seen a couple of improvements.
"All I wanted to do was say it's lovely to be back and a massive thank you to everybody who sent us such lovely messages.
"From Jenny, she wants to send all her thanks and love to you too."
During his time off Q102, Martin was replaced by DJ Darragh O'Dea.
Meanwhile Kamal Ibrahim, Brian Dowling and Greg O'Shea all filled in for the presenter during his break from The Six O'Clock Show.
