Martin Freeman left Alison Hammond in stitches with a quick-witted comment at tonight's BAFTA Film Awards.

Host Alison first commented on his smart white tux while sense sat next to former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, before he made the witty comment.

Alison, 48, said of his outfit: "I thought there was a bit of a wedding going on at the minute."
