- The couple revealed their union during a rare joint appearance on the red carpet at the London Film Festival, where both were seen wearing gold bands on their wedding fingers.
- Benaissa, 34, who was born in Toulouse and raised in London, is known for her roles in the BBC drama Normal People , the comedy series This Way Up , and Netflix's Irish Wish .
- The pair began dating in 2020 following Freeman's 2016 split from his Sherlock co-star Amanda Abbington, with whom he spent 16 years and shares two children.
- Freeman, 55, whose famous credits include The Office, Sherlock, and The Hobbit trilogy, is promoting his latest film, A Long Winter.
