THE BBC is set to release a new series starring independence-supporting actor Martin Compston and his friend Phil MacHugh as they tour Norway.
Compston and MacHugh previously toured Scotland in the BBC series Martin Compston’s Scottish Fling.
The series saw the pair undertake a road trip around the country, visiting some Scotland’s most beautiful places and speaking to a whole host of inspiring people.
In 2024, the BBC will release Martin Compston’s Norwegian Fling, which will once again see the pair embark on an adventure.
According to the BBC, the new six-part series for BBC Scotland, BBC Two and BBC iPlayer sees the pair get to know the people and the places of Norway in a spectacular trip.
They travelled around 2000 miles from Oslo to the Arctic North, taking in some dramatic remote scenery and unexpected urban exploits.
“I can’t wait for people to see this series,” said Compston.
MacHugh added: “We’ve got some amazing adventures to show you.”
