Martin Compston has sparked rumours Line of Duty might be coming back for a seventh series.
The Greenock-born actor hinted that a new season of the hit BBC cop drama could be on the horizon after he tweeted a picture of himself, Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure and writer Jed Mercurio out together.
Compston posted the pic along with the caption: "Talking tattoo designs".

The caption could be a nod to the agreement he and his fellow co-stars made to get AC-12 tattoos if the show ever reached 12 million viewers - which it did after the season finale was watched by 12.8 million people.
On the tweet, one fan replied: "New LOD script under the menus?"
A second wrote: "Mother of god, you’d better be talking new series plots/plot twists while you’re there!!!"
"Yass new season on the menu", a third jumped in.
