Martin Compston 's BBC travel show Scottish Fling will finally air on our screens tomorrow and we cannot wait.
The Line of Duty actor teamed up with pal Phil MacHugh to explore their native country in six-part travel series, Scottish Fling. The duo set off on the journey to find out “what makes modern Scotland tick” and how the nation is being shaped by its people and landscape.
Their travels take them from the wild highlands to the bustling cities and places off the beaten track and have a laugh along the way, and if the trailer is anything to go by, it looks fantastic!
Speaking about the show last week, the actor shared a teaser clip and wrote: "TRAILER FOR SCOTTISH FLING!! Can’t wait for this to hit screens next week, first on BBCScot Thursday the 8th then BBC2 Friday the 9th. Prepare for the newest blonde bombshell on the telly @iamphilmachugh coming soon to @bbciplayer."
In another post he added: "Really proud of this we got to go to some amazing places around Caledonia and meet some incredible people. Was a joy to make and I’m very proud of it."
And fans were buzzing to see the pair explore Scotland. One wrote: "Can’t wait to watch - was so much fun filming with you on the island!" Another added: "Really looking forward to watching this."
While one said: "So looking forward to this guys." While another added: "So looking forward to this later this week."
Martin and Phil attended a small premier of the first two episodes at the Greenock Waterfront cinema last night and were joined by their friends and family for the screening.
Sharing a photo from the night, Martin wrote: "Cracking night in Greenock Waterfront Cinema for first two eps of ‘Scottish Fling’. Thanks to everybody who came along and for the lovely reaction. Myself, Mr @iamphilmachugh and the rest of the team chuffed to bits with it. Coming to @bbcscotland this Thursday."
