Line of Duty's Martin Compston has slagged off co-star Vicky McClure's football training ahead of the Soccer Aid match next month.
Martin plays for the rest of the world team every year and now Vicky has joined the tournament on the opposing English side.
Vicky vowed to 'whip the England team into shape' ahead of this year's event at West Ham United's London Stadium on June 12.
The actress, who plays Kate Fleming in the popular BBC drama, is keen to beat Martin on the football pitch and issued a rallying cry to her teammates and a warning to her co-star on the official Twitter account for the game.
She said: "I'm joining this year's Soccer Aid for UNICEF. I'm going to whip the England team into shape, but mainly I want to make sure we beat the rest of the world with Martin Compston."
Martin took the threat lightly and joked back on his own Twitter account: "England training now consisting of Tik-Tok dance videos followed by Greggs for lunch."
The Three Lions and World XI will raise money for children's charity UNICEF and players include Liam Payne, Mo Gilligan, Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville.
Fans loved the fighting talk with one saying: "Will the Gaffer need to step in to keep the peace?"
Another added: "Gauntlet. Thrown. Down."
And a third said: "And the banter has started - this is going to be so good with you two x"
