Martin Compston and Vicky McClure have teased that Line of Duty could make a comeback.

The actors appeared on Good Morning Britain today ahead of Sunday’s Soccer Aid which they are both taking part in. While on the ITV talk show, they addressed the recent Instagram picture of them out for dinner with Line of Duty co-star Adrian Dunbar and writer Jed Mercurio, which sent fans of the show into a frenzy.

They hinted to Kate Garraway and Ben Shepherd that they would be up for a new series of the BBC drama - so they can give the show the send off party it properly deserves.
