Manchester United will be hoping to have Anthony Martial and Diogo Dalot back available for selection for their Premier League showdown with Arsenal - but Erik ten Hag admits he is no closer to knowing whether or not they will feature at the Emirates Stadium.
Along with long-term absentee Donny van de Beek (knee), those two players were missing for the midweek draw against Crystal Palace in which United were pegged back in the dying embers. Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring before Palace stuck back through a devastating Michael Olise free-kick.
Next up for United is a date with the table-topping Gunners in what will be a mouth-watering occasion. But there are four major selection doubts for manager Ten Hag to assess.

Here is the current state of play on the Carrington treatment table before kick-off on Sunday afternoon.
Diogo Dalot
Injury: Hamstring
Return date: TBC
What Ten Hag has said: "No [update] but of course, it's Wednesday [when the press conference took place] and we have to see if they are all fit for a game Sunday."
Anthony Martial
Injury: Leg
Possible return date: January 22 vs Arsenal
What Ten Hag has said: "I hope to avoid that he [Martial] was getting injured. He was complaining, so that's why [he was substituted against City], he also didn't train in the week and that's why he was a question mark. Also, you saw he was not capable to go 100 per cent, that's what you need."
Donny van de Beek
Injury: Knee
Return date: Next season
What Ten Hag has said: "Of course, the bad news is that he is out for the rest of the season, but the good news is, in the longer-term, his knee will be okay and he will be ready again to play at the highest levels and will be ready for the start of pre-season."
Jadon Sancho
Injury: n/a
Return date: TBC
What Ten Hag has said: "He is making the next step and because it is true, yesterday [on Tuesday] was the first time in the team training. Training was the final training before a game, so we will extend that in the coming days and weeks and then go step by step."
