Married At First Sight is known for bringing the drama. From grooms cheating on their brides to explosive arguments, the series is well-loved by fans.
The 2022 series, which will begin on Monday, August 29 on E4, is set to be the most dramatic yet. The line-up has been announced, you can read the full line-up here, and the 2021 cast enjoyed a sneak preview of the new series, which they promised that viewers would love.
The Sun has reported that the new series will also have a new twist. Two new couples will join the series halfway through, in a move never seen before on Married At First Sight UK. Married At First Sight Australia has introduced new couples halfway through a series and it has definitely increased the drama.
The contestants will not legally marry each other but instead, have a commitment ceremony with all the frills and normalities of a real wedding. They will then go on a honeymoon together before living in an apartment block with all the other couples.

There will be dinner parties, which often see the couples clash, and commitment ceremonies when the couples will have to decide if they want to stay together and remain in the process.
2022 bride Zoe Clifton has already dropped some massive hints there is a rocky ride in store for her while on the show. She has posted to Instagram to say she does not like looking at the other contestants' faces.
Posting a photo of different magazine pages that show the contestants she captioned the post: "Not a great time to be alive if you don't like looking at any of these faces" followed by the fingers over the lips emoji, the hiding behind hands emoji, the grimace emoji, and the eyes emoji.
