Just days after several members of last year's Married At First Sight UK cast got together for a mini reunion, one groom from the 2022 series posted a sweet nostalgic message to his ex partner he felt 'obligated to share'.
Thomas Hartley was paired up with Adrian Sanderson on the second UK series but 'bowed out gracefully' towards the end due to their relationship not being romantic.
Since the show ended, it came out that the pair had cut ties and were no longer in contact after a falling out following the programme's reunion show at Christmas. However, despite the claims that they are not on good terms, Thomas posted a series of images and explained how he missed their time together.

He wrote alongside a sweet selfie of the couple: "This cute photo popped up on my memories and I felt obligated to share. During the minimal time we had with our phones we took a selfie! It’s therapeutic being without a phone but it’s also essential to life!
"I miss the moments we spent together alone, I don’t miss the moments spent in company (minus the crew and Lara) @adriansanderson".
Adrian himself commented on this adorable and nostalgic throwback with a simple but affectionate note: "Selfie time. cute."
The pair's fallout came as a result of Thomas appearing on a podcast on which he said some nasty comments about his fellow cast members. And while their friendship was impacted following this, Adrian has said he wishes him the best in an emotive and lengthy Instagram post that celebrated one year since marrying Thomas.
He wrote: "Happy Anniversary. Today marks 1 year since I was married to an absolute lunatic of a man (his words). I have to say I’m quite teary writing this. We had a bumpy ride and the only thing I would ever change is the final outcome.
"I miss him and his energy all the time, I miss him boosting me, singing with me, telling him off for the fake tan of the bedsheets and I actually enjoyed being the calm in his storm. I think you’d maybe find it a little surprising to say I don’t think any man was ever more kind to me in a lot of ways. That’s not to say there was a lot of rough with the smooth, but the one thing he did do was build me up and stop me from tearing myself down and it meant the world."
He added: "Yes there was tough times and they’re not disregarded, but I hope you all got to see there was a lot of love there for each other and I’ll always cherish that. It has been one of the toughest and craziest years of my life with more ups and downs than you could count and I’m still extremely grateful that we got to go through it together.
"Even though we don’t communicate anymore, I want every happiness for him, every flirt, fancy, emotion, experience and enormous love he can find, and I have no doubt on this earth that he truly wants and wishes the same for me.
"So from Good Cop to Bad Cop, ‘H’ from Steps & Claire Balding…Happy Anniversary. Thanks for the ride, it was never boring. Love Adrian. Xx"
