Married At First Sight 's Thomas Hartley has been urged to leave the show by his parents as he admitted he had doubts about his partner Adrian Sanderson.
The TV star, 31, - who is coupled with Adrian, 37, on the E4 show - visited his home city of Liverpool where they met up with his parents for a coffee.
Tom's mother said she was worried about her son's relationship, stating: "Do I think Adrian fancies you, no. And to me it's blatantly obvious."
But Tom replied saying: "I'm still open minded, honestly. We have really overcome a lot of obstacles in this experiment and I mean shockingly. You know he's a good, all round person.
His mum then asked: "So does the good outweigh the bad?' with Tom replying "Yes".
Asking whether the pair had grown physically close, she added: "So have you had a full on neck?"
Turning to his partner, Tom confessed: "No and he can say whatever he wants but either you are A-sexual or you don't fancy me. What do you think I should do?"
Looking his son straight in the eye, Tom's dad said: "As it stands, I'd leave."
Nodding in agreement, his wife concluded: "Yeah, same as your dad, I think it's time to leave."
After his parent's honest advice, Tom looked forlorn, addressing the camera.
"I really appreciate my mum's opinions, am I riding it out too long? Am I waiting for something to happen that's not going to happen?," he said.
"Right now in this moment I really can't see myself getting to final vows after my parents advice. They know me better than anyone. It's really difficult. "
Despite having had their fair share of arguments on the show, fans are rooting for the couple to make it.
Over previous weeks, they seem to be developing a connection with Tom learning to trust his partner as he helped him to come to terms with a painful past.
Viewers were in tears recently when the couples were asked by the experts to choose one thing that they would change about their partner.
Adrian sweetly said to Tom: "I would change situations in life that have led you to your defences.
"I would change every one of them, and I would stand there in front of them and bat them away."
Overcome with emotion, his partner said: "Can I just say, I respect you, you’ve listened and heard me, and I love you as a person and I really care about you."
