Married at First Sight star's fashion sense challenges new wife

Michael's sense of style may be too much for his new wife Chloe.

In a sneak peek of this week's episode of the hit show Married at First Sight, fans get a glimpse into the evolving relationship between Michael and Chloe. One aspect of their connection that seems to be causing some tension is Michael's unique sense of style.

Chloe opens up to her friends, Lauren, Clare, and Emily, about her struggle with Michael's fashion choices. While she admits that his flamboyant outfits are entertaining to watch, they also give her the 'ick' factor and pose challenges in terms of sexual attraction.

Reflecting on Michael's unexpected fashion statements, Chloe shares, 'He didn't even tell me [the skirt] was coming. He was just like, ready to go to the retreat, and I was like, 'Oh, like, great. Love that for you.'' It becomes apparent that Chloe feels unsure about how to navigate this aspect of their relationship.

Lauren offers Chloe some advice, suggesting that she communicate her feelings about being triggered by Michael's fashion choices. Chloe appreciates Lauren's perspective and acknowledges the importance of expressing her emotions. However, she wonders how to approach the topic with Michael effectively.

This issue is not the first fashion-related surprise for Chloe. In a previous episode, she expressed her surprise when Michael tried on her large pearl necklace. She admits that she had never encountered a man who embraced his feminine side before and that she is taking each day as it comes.

The surprises continue when the couple arrives at Michael's apartment, and he proudly showcases his extensive collection of skirts. Chloe confesses, 'I never thought I'd be married to a man who owns more skirts than I do. It just takes it to the next level.' Pastor Calvin Roberson even inquires about Chloe's feelings regarding Michael's fashion sense, leading her to express her struggle in navigating this uncharted territory.

Despite their differences, Chloe is willing to give their relationship a chance. She acknowledges that Michael is not the type of man she would have chosen for herself, but she appreciates the fact that he has a heart of gold – a quality she desired in a partner.

Married at First Sight continues to captivate audiences with its unique premise of bringing couples together through marriage without prior knowledge of each other. With every episode, viewers are taken on an emotional journey, witnessing the ups and downs of these newly formed relationships.
