Married At First Sight UK's Adrian revealed how the explosive dinner parties are filmed. Adrian Sanderson, who wed firey Thomas Hartley, explained on his Instagram story how the the E4 show's most dramatic scenes are produced. During a question and answer session, one fan asked: "When they cut to someone outside mid-dinner, for a snippet on what's going on, is that before/during/after?"
Adrian said: "This is a bit of a sneaky one. What happens is there'll be a break and then you'll all go off separately. Always someone would be there to grab you and take you so you all stay separate as well," Birmingham Live reported.
He continued: "So we got separated constantly throughout this process," explaining that this happened before commitment ceremonies and dinner parties "in order for conversations to not happen before you end up in front of the camera".
Next, Adrian responded to speculation that the arguments were faked, adding: "People keep on saying that this is fake drama. It's not fake, they tried to keep it as authentic as possible. That's why they tried to separate us as much as possible and that's why problems happened when we went back to the apartment."
With Married At First Sight 2022 over, fans are anticipating the reunion show to find out which of the couples lasted. Five couples – April and George, Sophie and Johnathan, Chanita and Jordan, Matt and Whitney and Zoe and Jenna – opted to stay together in the vow renewal ceremony earlier this week.
