Married at First Sight star George Roberts has issued a health update for his fans thanking the NHS staff who cared for him. George appeared on the UK version of the E4 show in 2022 when he had a rocky marriage to April Banbury and the couple split after the series ended.
Posting to his Instagram story George did not reveal why he received treatment in hospital last month but explained he was no longer in hospital. He said: "OMG the BIGGEST and Hugest thank you to our beloved @nhs To all the nurses and consultants that looked after me in Evesham Hospital in June And to all the amazing humans that were by my side today #NHS To those that know and are supporting me through this I can't tell you how much I Love you and appreciate you You know who you are Glad to be home #nhsgoat" followed by red love heart emojis.
George has not given any more details about his stay in hospital. At the start of 2023, George hinted he may be in a new relationship as he posed for wedding photos.
George posted a photo to his Instagram of him dressed as a groom and posing with a new bride. He shared a photo from the account @elisabethshellevents which is a wedding event-planning business in Devon.
It was not confirmed if George was sharing pictures from his own wedding or simply modelling for the events business. In the picture, he's looking down at a bride who's reaching up and holding his head.
The account captioned the post: "Some pretty bridal inspiration for you, blue hydrangeas and the most beautiful delicate bridal jewellery... a rhapsody in blue" followed by crediting elements of the photo.
