Married at First Sight Australia viewers feel reunion ceremony 'robbed' them as controversial couple missing

Married At First Sight Australia fans have weighed in with their opinions following the dramatic reunion of the season ten cast, and they aren't best pleased after the long-anticipated wait for updates.

The final two episodes of the Channel 4 reality show were split into two instalments, with the final dinner party airing on Monday, May 8, while the brides and grooms took a look back on their journey on Tuesday, May 9.

And whilst viewers were expecting explosive reunions from some of this year's most controversial characters on the show, they were left disappointed as many couples failed to make it on the sofa for their time with the experts.

There were some fireworks as Cameron Woods and Lyndall Grace, Dan Hunjas and Sandy Jawanda, and Duncan James and Alyssa Barmonde all sat down to discuss where their marriages on the show took a wrong turn.

We did however get some sweet news with Tahnee Cook and Ollie Skelton happily in love, and Melinda Willis and Layton Mills also speaking positively on how their relationship is progressing.

But fans were left confused as the experts called up Jesse Burford and Claire Nomarhas and announced they would be the "last couple" to sit down on the sofa.

The pair, who had a turbulent time on the show and ended up splitting, announced they would be visiting one another in Perth. However, we reported recently how Jesse has since rubbished the idea they are on friendly terms and could get back together.

Writing on Facebook, Jesse explained: "Allow me to clarify. Almost everything I say about Claire that night has been craftily edited to appear that there’s still a chance for us."

He added: "I actually spent the entire drive to the reunion talking about how I wasn't too keen on seeing Claire or Adam and how I wanted to mostly be by myself that night. What you saw was Claire and I simply being polite, friendly and kind to each other. No need for a fight."

Meanwhile, it pushed many people to question where Bronte Schofield and Harrison Boon were, having been arguably the most explosive couple on this year's Australian series of the show.

"Disappointed half of the couples were left off the MAFS reunion with no grilling. They were the best ones to rip into!!," said one fan.

Another wrote: "Did I have an extra long blink whilst watching #MAFSAu! What happened to all the other pairs having time on the couch!?!? Needed to see the others being unpacked!"

"@Channel4 #MAFSAU You are not finished! You got 4 more couples left to tell off!!," quipped another.

"Last?" a fourth questioned. "What about the others?" as another said: "Why haven’t we seen half the couples on this final episode? You can’t tell me Brontë and Harrison would of been boring tv #MAFSAU I feel robbed."

Married At First Sight Australia is now available to watch on catchup on E4/Channel 4.
