Married at First Sight Australia's Ines Bašić shares love life now, OnlyFans and regrets

Ines Bašić is one of the many contestants Married at First Sight fans will remember - she was Australia's resident queen of bad who was never afraid to speak her mind. The stand-out sixth season saw her marriage to Bronson Norrish get off to a rocky start, and continue from bad to worse.

At the alter, Ines was quick to complain about Bronson's eyebrow ring and stripper profession, then a shock twist saw her secret affair with Sam Ball unfold on screen. Despite being labelled 'Britain's most hated bride', Ines was just a young woman looking for love on television - albeit she didn't always go about it the fairytale way.

The 32-year-old has been honest about her "close-minded" views during filming and has reassured fans that she's a really nice girl with genuine intentions.

Now, as the new series of MAFS UK airs, we caught up with Ines about her life over the last few years - from her success on OnlyFans to her halt on finding 'the one'.

Speaking about her stint on the hit show, Ines told the Mirror : "There's definitely been times I have regretted going on MAFS, but if I didn't do it, I wouldn't know what I know now. I learnt a lot about myself through it all and continue to do so."

Ines has since brushed off all the drama and has made a success of becoming an influencer, sharing snaps of professional modelling jobs and red carpet nights on her low-key Instagram.

She became a brand ambassador for Charity Bosnia Kids, an organisation which helps protect children from poverty, and in May 2020, she launched a YouTube channel, which now has over 1,100 subscribers.

The model temporarily went for a brand new look, showing off her blonde locks online, before going back brunette.

In 2021, she found fame on OnlyFans, racking up £43,000 in just the first month by showing fans a side of her she "can't share anywhere else".

"I am enjoying OnlyFans. It gives me a lot of freedom to do the things I really want to do," Ines said.

Though she prefers to keep her other passions under wraps and isn't revealing what's in the near future.

"I have no other projects in the works at the moment. A few things on my mind I may bring into fruition when I'm ready, but for now I'll keep them close to my heart," she explained.

After her marriage started and ended on the show, Ines has revealed that she isn't looking for love again anytime soon.

"At this stage of my life, I just want to work really hard and put all of my energy into me. Truthfully, I can't see that changing anytime in the near future," she explained.

Instead, Ines is working her way around the globe and recently got back from a trip to the UK - a place she once expressed her fears of being "stabbed" by haters - but thankfully, it wasn't as scary as she thought.

"I absolutely love the UK. I've been twice in the past six months. The people, history and diversity are a few of my favourite things," she said.

Sharing her future travel plans, Ines added: "I think I'll head to Japan before the Australian summer arrives. Then Greece and Italy next year for the European summer. The plan is to just keep escaping every winter."

As Married at First Sight UK comes to the end of its seventh series, Ines shares her advice for UK contestants - though it could be a little too late for Whitney Hughes.

Ines said: "It's a whirlwind of an experience and based off my own, I'd tell them to stay as grounded as possible, think before you speak and don't cheat on the person you get paired with - even if you're not fully vibing, it's just not nice."
