Married at First Sight Australia viewers have taken to social media to support groom Josh White after he told bride Melissa Sheppard about his concerns regarding sex. During the episode on Monday, March 20 of the E4 reality show, couples were made to choose whether they wanted to stay or leave their partners during a commitment ceremony.
Speaking with experts John Aiken, Alessandra Rampolla and Mel Schilling, Josh and Melissa talked about how their marriage was going. Revealing that he and his bride had agreed to take sex ‘off the menu’ for the time being, Josh said: “I don’t want to be seen as a sexual object.”
The 40-year-old Advertising Client Director added: “The task yesterday where we talked about first impressions - the wedding videos that played were very different. I talked about a feeling and about the aspect of turning round and having an instant connection. Whereas Mel's video didn’t touch on that and she references that I look like Thor and she hopes that I have Thor’s hammer!”
