Adam Levine accused of affair with model and trying to name baby after 'mistress'

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has been accused of having an affair with an Instagram model and 'wanting to name' his unborn child after her.

Levine, 43, who has yet to address the unsupported claims, has been married to Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo, 34, since 2014.

On Monday evening, Instagram influencer Sumner Stroh, 23, went viral on Tik Tok with allegations about the married singer.

23-year-old Sumner seemed reluctant to name Adam at first, only saying that she was "having an affair with a man who was married to a Victoria's Secret model" before sharing what she claims are messages between them.

Stroh claims that she was "exploited" and "easily manipulated" by the singer, although examples of these allegations were not given by the model.

The Mirror has contacted Levine's representatives for comment.

Levine has since shared a statement on his Instagram Stories, in which he denies having an affair but admits to "crossing the line".

He wrote: "I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life.

"In certain instances, it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.

"My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make.

“I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together."

The allegations have come just weeks after Levine and Prinsloo announced that they were expecting their third child together. They already share two daughters together - Dusty Rose, 5, and Gio Grace, 4.

Stroh posted the video on Monday evening, garnering over 429,000 likes inside seven hours, with the caption: "Embarrassed I was involved w [sic] a man with utter lack of remorse or respect."

She started her video by saying: "I was having an affair with a man who was married to a Victoria's Secret model.

"At the time, I was young, I was naive. And I mean, quite frankly, I feel exploited. I wasn’t in the scene like I am now. So I was definitely very easily manipulated."

She alleges that the pair had seen each other for "about a year" but had not spoken for a while before Levine returned with a shock message on Instagram.

"Maroon 5 is practically elevator music at this point," Stroh continued.

As she was talking to the camera, her background was of the alleged private messages between the lead singer and the Instagram model during the affair that she claimed.

"So, I’m sure you know who Adam Levine is. Adam and I were seeing each other for about a year, after I stopped talking to him over a period of months, this is how he came back into my life," with Stroh revealing the private message.

It read: "Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s a boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious." He then added a struggling shoulders emoji.

Stroh was stunned by the astonishing message, adding: "My morals were unknowingly compromised, I was completely manipulated."

She added that she "never wanted to come forward" because she knew the "implications of that come with doing what I do" and the "stereotypes" of being linked with this type of story.

Stroh also claims that she was forced to come forward after she "sent screenshots recklessly to a few friends" that she thought she trusted but one of them allegedly tried to sell the story for money.
