A man accused of sexually assaulting 24 women on the Sunshine Coast has been charged with additional offences.
The 23-year-old man, who was arrested in March, is alleged to have met some of his victims while working at licensed venues in Maroochydore.
The series of sex offences are alleged to have occurred against victims aged between 15 and 20 years old.
Police allege the assaults occurred over a two-year period.
The latest 24 charges relate to the alleged assault of five of the women and include rape, deprivation of liberty, disabling in order to commit indictable offence, and stalking charges.
The Maroochydore man is now facing a total of 63 charges and will face court again on Friday.
Police will allege the man’s offending involved a protracted series of incidents which included stalking, hacking computer devices, accessing social media accounts, breaking into a home and exerting coercive control over the victims.
Police commenced Operation Uniform Strix after receiving a report through the Queensland Police Service (QPS) Alternative Reporting Option (ARO) from one of the women.
Police said Operation Uniform Strix was ongoing and being run by Sunshine Coast detectives in conjunction with the Sexual Crimes Group in Brisbane.
"Anyone wishing to make a make a complaint to police in relation to sexual violence can do so via the via ARO, online formal reporting system," a QPS spokesperson said.
