Marnie Simpson 's friend made a major fashion faux pas by wearing a white dress to her wedding.
The Geordie Shore's pal sparked outrage from fans who noticing her breaking the unwritten wedding rule whilst posing for photos on the big day.
Glamour model Jemma Lucy, who has appeared on Ex on the Beach, posed next to Marnie in a white gown at her reception.
Marnie, 31, looked stunning in a tiered lace gown and let her luscious dark locks fall down her back as she wed her beau Casey Johnson.
The reality star said 'I do' in the Cambridgeshire countryside, surrounded by her celeb pals.
She certainly knew how to celebrate in style as she had a selection of seven dresses to choose from throughout the day.
Yet Jemma's choice of dress got fans talking as she attended the wedding in an off-the-shoulder white sparkling gown.
Geordie Shore star Chantelle Connelly posted the photo, saying: "The most beautiful bride ever, what an unbelievable day."
Fans were quick to share their confusion over Jemma's outfit choice, with one commenting: "Who is in the white next to Marnie? I thought it was common knowledge not to wear white to a wedding, unless it's someone that wants attention."
"If I was Marnie, I'd be so annoyed," snapped another.
A fan added: "It's so rude to do that. Hopefully somebody said something."
Casey and Marnie were joined by around 80 loved ones as they tied the knot, including their two children Rox, three, and 10-month-old Oax and Marnie's former co-stars Charlotte Crosby, Holly Hagan, Nathan Henry and Sophie Kasaei.
Marnie got engaged to Stereo Kicks singer Casey in August 2020 after the former X Factor contestant popped the question during a romantic date night.
The couple had originally planned to tie the knot in 2021 following the end of lockdown restrictions, but ending up postponing their special day.
Speaking about their big day, Marnie and Casey told OK! : "We've finally tied the knot - we're over the moon!"
"I’ll never forget that feeling," Casey added. "I was focused on her, it felt like no one else was there. It was incredible."
