Marnie Simpson no longer feeling 'uncomfortable, unhealthy and lost' after shedding 2.5 stone

Marnie Simpson has said that she is feeling 'amazing' after shifting 2.5 stone in weight, boosting her mental health in the process.

It's a far cry from when the 30year-old former Geordie Shore star admitted that she was feeling 'uncomfortable, unhealthy and lost' last year, yesterday taking to her official Instagram account to showcase her new body to her 5.3million followers.

The first snap shared showed Marns posing in a plunging bikini - rubbing her stomach before pulling a sad face to the camera.

The Daily Star reports that it was followed by a clip of the brunette sporting a bright blue two piece, smiling away as she posed up as storm on the set of a photo shoot. Promoting her new workout programme alongside the post, Marnie penned: "I am so happy and proud of myself.

"Last year I felt uncomfortable, unhealthy and a bit lost. But thanks to my amazing trainer @lisa.welham and my nutritionist Amanda I’m feeling amazing. I’ve put all of their expertise into a plan and have called it Marnie’sMotivat8.

"So you can try it if you’re feeling like you aren’t the best version of yourself."

This comes after Marnie was forced to hit back after fans accused her of 'editing' her weight loss snaps. Stood with her back to the camera, the TV personality wore a gold bikini in two pictures taken months apart in a bid to showcase her new figure.

But while Marnie was praised by many of her followers, others accused her of manipulating her images. Hitting back at trolls, she wrote: "As you can see it's the wall, bet this really gets all the haters going SOZ NOT SOZ."

Marnie's comments were turned off for her latest post.
