Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson finally broke her silence following her surprise wedding to former X Factor contestant Casey Johnson.
Marnie became engaged to Casey in August 2020 after the Stereo Kicks singer got down on one knee during a romantic date night.
The couple were due to tie the knot in 2021 following the ending of the coronavirus lockdown restrictions but were forced to postpone their big day.
But while surrounded by some of her nearest and dearest including her former co-stars, the couple married on Wednesday (March 22) and filmed the entire event for their fans to see.
And the mum-of-two confirmed the happy news by showing off her wedding ring on her Instagram Stories on Thursday night.
In the video upload, sound from the TV can be heard in the background before she flashes her sparkly new ring to the camera against her face as she pretends to be shocked. The caption to the post read: "I'm a wife. Omg."
The mum-of-two filled her Instagram Stories with well wishes from loved ones who celebrated their ceremony at an undisclosed location.
Speaking about their big day, Marnie and Casey told OK! : "We've finally tied the knot - we're over the moon!"
The couple documented the whole day and the wedding photos will be available to see from April 4.
Speculation had been rife after Marnie's close pal and manager had shared a "wedding to do list" on his Instagram Stories which was later deleted.
He was also seen with Geordie Shore star Chantelle Connelly with the pair revealing they were at a top-secret location for a big day but failed to disclose their reason for meeting up.
Chantelle also took to her Instagram to share a snap of herself with eye masks on alongside the caption: "Ready for the big day."
The newlyweds first met one another back in 2017 after appearing on MTV programme Single AF and their relationship has gone from strength to strength over the years.
Just two years later, they went on to welcome their first son, Rox, before their second, Oax, in May 2022.
While Marnie found fame on MTV, Casey appeared as one-eighth of Stereo Kicks on X Factor in 2014 where they went on to finish in fifth place behind eventual winner Ben Haenow.
He briefly went on to appear as one quarter of Union J following the departure of George Shelley in 2016.
