A multitude of music fans are gearing up to head to Marlay Park this summer to catch acts such as Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Guns N Roses.
The southside park is a regular spot for gigs and festivals and this summer sees things back in full swing following the Covid-19 pandemic.
From start times to banned items to getting to the venue, here is everything you need to know about concerts at Marlay Park.
Who is playing Marlay Park this summer?
On Monday, June 27, The Hella Mega Tour heads to Dublin's Marlay Park and features a line-up of some oft he most popular punk rock bands of the 2000s including Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer.
On Tuesday, June 28, Marlay Park will play host to rock legends Guns N Roses.
On Wednesday, June 29, Red Hot Chilli Peppers will play at Marlay Park.
What time do the Marlay Park concerts start?
Gates open at 4pm for all concerts at Marlay Park with the shows kicking off at 5pm.
No overnight or early queuing will be permitted.
How to get to the Marlay Park Concerts
Car parking at Marlay Park will be extremely limited for the concerts and must be pre-booked in advance of the events. Parking tickets will cost €25 per car and can be purchased until Friday, June 24. The car park entrance is located on College Road. Parking spaces can be booked at marathoncoaches.ie.
Marathon Coaches will also operate shuttle buses from Dundrum. They will also be operating a bus service from Custom House Quay. Tickets for this can also be purchased at marathoncoaches.ie.
If you have organised a private coach to the Marlay Park concerts, you are asked to register the details in advance at enquiries@festivalrepublic.com.
The recommended drop off area if you are being brought to Marlay Park for the concerts is Our Lady’s School car park on Ballinteer Avenue. Those being picked up after the concerts are advised that the roads surrounding Marlay Park will be closed.
A taxi pick up area will be facilitated at the Supervalu on Ballinteer Avenue but there is no guarantee that taxis will be available.
If travelling by Dublin Bus, route 16 goes to the park from O'Connell Street.
Banned items
As always, there is a lost of items that attendees will not be allowed to bring into Marlay Park for The Hella Mega Tour, Guns N Roses and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
No alcohol or drinks can be brought into the venue with the exception of water and soft drinks in sealed plastic bottles up to 500ml.
No backpacks, large handbags or bags over A4 size will be allowed in.
Other items banned from the Marlay Park concerts include garden furniture, umbrellas, selfie sticks, flares, fireworks, laser pens, megaphones/air horns, aerosols, spray cans and professional recording equipment.
How should I bring my ticket to the Marlay Park concerts?
Ticket holders for The Hella Mega Tour, Guns N Roses and Red Hot Chilli Peppers are advised to save their tickets in their digital wallets on their mobile phones or to download or print their tickets before arrival.

Irish summers are notoriously unpredictable and concert goers are warned to be prepared for rain.
