A Marks & Spencer chocolate bar has been pulled from the shelves over fears it could pose a risk to anyone with a milk allergy.
The M&S Belgian Dark Chocolate Bar has been recalled because some packs contain milk which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
A warning has been issued by the Food Standards Agency as well as M&S, urging people at risk not to eat the chocolate but return the item for a refund. M&S said: "Customer safety is of paramount importance to Marks & Spencer and we take all issues regarding the production of our foods extremely seriously.
