Marks & Spencer shoppers have heaped praise on a linen dress that's perfect for the warmer months, with dozens of fashion fans branding it "beautiful" and "flattering".
The high street retailer has impressed with its Linen Rich Printed Round Neck Shift Dress, which is currently ranked among the bestsellers on the M&S website as people snap up the stylish garment for their summer getaways. Priced at £27.50, the dress is available in short, regular or long length from sizes six to 24, and comes in three different patterns to suit the tastes of any shopper.
M&S is offering the dress in a quirky multi-coloured abstract fabric, a summery striped blue, or a classic black and white spot - and a plain version is available to buy in either fuchsia or bright green too. Styled with leather sandals, a slim belt and straw drawstring tote bag on the M&S website, the simple knee-length outfit is made in a sleeveless cut, ideal as a suitcase staple for soaking up the sunshine on holiday.

The eye-catching dress has been given an overall rating of 4.4 out of five stars by more than 120 M&S shoppers. One satisfied customer wrote in their review: "Great summer dress. Beautiful fabric with a lovely print."
"Excellent linen dress, very comfortable and cool," another shopper praised. "This is my fourth year of purchasing these and the first ones I ever bought are still in use. They always wash well, are easy to iron and don't really crinkle."
And a third shopper added: "Great purchase. Very flattering, comfortable style at an incredible value price. Please bring this out in other colours/patterns."
"Fab little dress, looks lovely on," someone else penned in a five-star review. "Perfect fit, true to size and looks so much nicer than the photos."
However, the dress didn't manage to win everyone over, with a handful of shoppers making a complaint that has arisen in the M&S review section on a few occasions recently: the sizing. "Not sure what was happening with the sizing of this dress as it was massive," one person reported.
Another said: "The dress fitted well apart from the armholes which were cut so low that my bra was on show." Remember, if you don't try clothes on before you buy or have them delivered to your door and find they don't fit, M&S has a standard returns policy of 35 days from purchase which applies to online orders as well as in-store ones - you can return an item to your nearest M&S store, send it back via Royal Mail or Evri, or organise collection from home.
