It is a huge step forward from last year when shoppers could only purchase Colin and Connie in a pack together - this year's Valentine's Day range enables consumers to purchase two of the same cakes in a two-pack for £10.
M&S recently made headlines for introducing optional pronoun name badges for staff.
And of course, the caterpillars have had a glow up to mark the day of love, the chocolate treats are decorated with milk chocolate hearts and heart-shaped sprinkles.
It seems the retailer has got all bases covered as back once again this year are inclusive Valentine's Day cards, with options for same-sex couples and also non-gender specific options too - it seems Marks and Spencer's has got everybody covered.
The special edition caterpillar cakes were announced on social media and it was well-received by the LGBT+ community who praised M&S for their inclusivity.
